I would like the opportunity to collaborate with you on presenting meaningful and engaging educational activities and materials for young children to enjoy with their parents, grandparents, caregivers and teachers. I am available to work with you creating sponsored or guest posts, social media campaigns, and special event coverage. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a wife, mom to 3 wonderful adult children, and grandma to 2 adorable littles, so far. I recently retired from education, but my passion for helping young children still burns in me. I am currently watching my young granddaughter everyday and love helping her learn and discover the world.

I have been an educator for 30 years. I have a BS in child development and a Master’s in Education with a focus on curriculum and instructional design. I also have an endorsement as a Reading Specialist. I have been a classroom teacher, Primary Literacy Leader, and a Reading Specialist. I have presented many professional development sessions at my schools and for the school districts I have worked for. I have also presented at the Virginia State Reading Association Conference. I have received Outstanding Literacy Teacher Award and Super Star Instructor Award.

Learning and education has been a passion of mine for most of my life. I knew I wanted to teach at a very young age. I love working with young children and setting a firm foundation for their continued learning.
